Whole School Curriculum
All of our students participate in a structured learning programme that is underpinned by and includes all of the subjects in the National Curriculum.
The package we offer alongside the thematic curriculum is bespoke and personalised to meet each child's needs.
Progress is monitored daily using the Solar for Schools Assessment Framework, and adjustments can be made as often as necessary to ensure their educational, social, and behavioural targets are met, and that children are allowed to learn at their own pace in an environment that suits them.
Developing emotional intelligence and literacy, as well as encouraging acceptable social behaviours, is a clear focus for all students and embedded within our school ethos.
We utilise our school site, its animals, and open spaces to facilitate this differentiation, and pupils work in small groups or individually depending on their needs. Further enrichment activities and sports take place out in the local community, offering a wide range of experiences to our students.
